Buying or selling a home is one of the biggest transactions in a person’s life. Simply moving is a huge disruption to every family. My job as a REALTOR is to make the process easier and protect you and your family from serious and potentially costly mistakes.

SELLING:

1. Find a REALTOR you feel comfortable with. Look for a Real Estate professional that works at it full time and is affiliated with a broker organization that has access to nationwide and even worldwide marketing tools.

2. Talk to your Real Estate professional early in the process. Let his or her expertise in your local market guide you to prepping your home for sale. Your agent can provide you with a printed, well laid out Competitive Market Analysis that will help you determine the correct list price for your home. To low and you are leaving money on the table- to high and you can lose the interest of up to 50% or more of your potential buyers!

3. As your REALTOR, I can help you with not just pricing and marketing your home but organizing open houses and showings, negotiating offers, communicating with buyers agents, lenders and the title company. I will walk you through the required seller disclosures and reports, negotiating offers as well as local contractor and handyman connections to help get your home ready to sell for top dollar.

BUYING:

Let his or her expertise in your local market guide you to finding the right home for you and your family. 97% of people starting to look for a new home start on one of the national real estate search engines. That is a great start but, as you will notice those websites just cannot keep up with the data. Just when you see a great house, in a great neighborhood at the right price – when you check it is already in contract or Pending. I will put together a search – customized to your needs that pulls data directly from the Multiple Listing Service (MLS) as the listings are posted.

3. Find a lender early. As your REALTOR, I can recommend several lenders that can explain your loan options, pre-qualify for a loan before you start your search and council you through the loan process.
